If you'da told me 20 years ago that I'd be 62 years old and still tryin' to make a livin'....I'da NEVER believed ya! I thought I had the world by the tail...no worries...no problems. Due to unforeseen circumstances I don't see a retirement for me ANY time in my future. But, no complaints...I like to work...I'm happier when I'm workin'...I don't get into trouble when I'm workin'.
Still lovin' my job with Fat Harold's...Hope they decide to keep me! Got a little bit of social security comin' in... LOVE that! I'm losin' out on two side jobs I've had for the past several years so I'm lookin' to fill in the gap.
Now comes a new opportunity. My sissy-poo needed a little help with her home-based business. I jumped in and set up a website for it and have come to the conclusion that I LIKE doin' this. Therefore, I've set up shop at home to design websites for small businesses, special interest groups, entertainment groups....anything and everything that wants a website but doesn't want to put a lot of money into it.
This is something that I can do at home in the privacy of my little office...which is where I do my best work.....all by my pudgy self...with no distractions...other than Mr. Brady.
That's him lookin' at me while I'm workin'. I've gotten used to it. He's finally worked with me long enough to know when I'm talkin' to myself...and when I'm talkin' to him.
In my last blog, I mentioned how much I really appreciated all of the fine folks who have stood by me and been here for me in the past few years. Love 'ya...mean it. (where have I heard that before?) Now, if you could just help me spread the word about my new venture I'd be mightly beholdin'. I'm lookin' ONLY to work with small companies, individuals or groups. Age has given me the privilege of pickin' what I want to do and who with. I'm not lookin' to get rich....just to recoup the income that I lost this past year. A good thing about havin' me put up your website is I'll also be your tech support. I speak fairly good English...and you'll always know where to find me. That's a good thing! Most tech support agents tend to test your patience and I promise not to be as hard to understand as they are.
Now, back to this blog thang....For all of you shaggers in blogland... SOS is almost here! That's about all everybody here in Ocean Drive is talkin' about. I'll be workin' at Fat Harold's most of the time, so come on by and see me...You'll probably have to ask for me because I'm so important they keep me locked up in the box with Lulu. But, we're there...Come on by. I WILL be free on Parade Day. Can't miss that. Me and the girls already have our ride and outfits planned out. Holler at us when we come by and you might just get a "special" surcie thrown out to 'ya. If I have to explain a surcie to 'ya..you might not be Southern enough.
Mr. Brady's already gettin' excited about the parade but I haven't told him yet that he can't ride. He's not a princess...and he takes up too much room, tries to get in the driver's seat...and won't be able to handle the bubbles on our ride. I'll have to deal with him on Parade Day...but he'll get over it.
